In those two movies Mr. McAvoy donned his curly crop with distinction as, like most younger men, the professor likely had a full head of hair, bangs and all in his early days. However, for his third jaunt into the world of Marvel’s X-Men the younger actor will be letting go his curls for the transition from a youngish X to the older, more familiar one.
For the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse” director Bryan Singer felt it was time fans of the character saw their beloved professor has both the earlier films and comic books shown him to be - head bare, bald and shiny. On Singer’s Instagram account he has released an image of Mr. McAvoy sitting patiently as a barber removes those curly strands.
